Sourav's exclusion from KKR team...

We the kolkatans are just crazy about Sourav Ganguly aka Dada,the icon in the field of cricket.We love him,we admire him,we support him not because he is such a great cricketer but also he possesses an indomitable spirit,a charismatic personality and several other traits..But the event that occured on 8th and 9th of January that was awestrucking to his fans!!...I was taken aback to find that none of the franchise owners did bid for him to be included as a member of their respective teams...most surprising was Kolkata Knight Riders which was Dada's home for three consequtive years in the IPL made him homeless!!This was'nt expected from them as there was not a slightest indication that they might leave Dada this time..Too pathetic it ws when the auctioneer Mr.Richard Madley concluded the auction by saying 'that's it' at the end of the re auction of the unsold players of the two days and Dada's name was missing in the panel..Murali Kartik,Jessie Ryder managed to find their teams and Dada,the most successful skipper of Indian cricket team could'nt find a team...what a tragedy!!...What deterred the team owners from not including him?Was it sole performance,but considering from this point Dada was the highest scorer in last ipl in kolkata knight riders...or was it age that mattered?Personally i think age should not be the yardstick to judge one,it should be the performance..The owners didnt think a bit that Dada's experience and role as a captain could contribute a lot to a team..Perhaps this is the fate,one who immensely contributed to the growth of the national team is suffering in the hands of some so called influential people who are trying to purchase individual talents through the idiot medium called indian premiere league..this can happen only in a country like India..It's a great insult for a cricketer like him which we the kolkatans cannot bear along with him...Still keeping aside all this,we have to bid adieu to a legendary cricketer like him from the field of cricket which is definitely very painful for us..whatever it is,we dont't care..as he will always be remembered by one and all in the core of their hearts as a great cricketer!!..
