It's a bengali novel written by eminent writer Buddhadev Guha..Infact to tell it frankly,this book was recommended by my mother,and nobody else and somehow just to honour her I started reading the book.Well,in our daily life we do not think much about the tribes and the people of remote parts of our country,their living,their manners,culture and customs and so on.But as one thinks deeply,he/she can find that not only they do lead plain and simple lives but also they have to confront a lot of troubles and difficilties to earn a paisa....books provide us with a knowledge of this.The novel is mainly based upon the writer's experiences during a long period stay at palamou-hazaribagh forest ...the realities and what exactly we feel when we are in a certain particular situation have been vey well understood by the writer and hence reflected in the novel.The author is a novice in hunting and he gradually develops an expertise in the art and while living there he learns to view nature quite differently and in a unique manner...unlike of urban people...such a vivid description of the minutest details of forest atmosphere will certainly make you feel that you are really within a forest and therefore trying to experience it's mood.Human relatonships take a different turn one you are in the lap of nature...have been proved by thw author in the novel.At the end,if you are sensitive enough u will have to shed your tears.... such intense feeling will bind you that you will have no option..So,those of you who have not yet read this book,please do read it!!!!!!!!and try to feel it's charm..
