It was just incredible!!We infact planned to visit Puri,Orissa on 9th july,2011(during ulto Rath)fortunately not knowing that the Ulto Rath festival is of great importance in Puri and hence gained a lifetime experience,the memories of which are still refreshing in my mind.The festival continues for almost 5days in Puri inviting visitors from all over the country and therefore it is a phase of festivity,gaiety and enjoyment.Local people enjoy greatly during this time including the visitors who get an opportunity to visualise this whole event of Ulto Rath at Puri.I am always uncomfortable in huge crowd since my early childhood but didnt deprive myself of viewing the three Raths of Lord Jagannath,Balaram and Subhadra coloured black,green and yellow respectively.Massive mob assembled on the ground to have a look of lord jagannath inside the Rath.Fearing about the consequences of falling from the Rath due to huge fanatic crowd of about 10lakhs,I didnt attempt to climb upon the Rath to have ...

The most innocent phase of one's life is undoubtedly their childhood..It is the phase when one constructs himself or herself in the way that he or she wishes to be.Therefore during this phase they should be allowed to do whatever they crave for,allowed to have fun and gala time and utilise their childhood to their utmost.Most of us often consider childhood to be the golden phase of our life..But unfortunately today's children are not free to enjoy their childhood to their heart's content.Starting from first standard in their school parents rush into the competition of making their child 'ALL ROUNDER' and the best.As a result they impose upon them various restrictions which is not at all desirable.They should be granted the permission to play,run through the lush green pastures,sing,dance,paint,read whatever they like.It is quite unfortunate that parents never realise their child's misery and often expect from them to become Don Bradman in Cricket,Maradona in Foo...

Kudos to Mr.Anjan Dutta for making such a brilliant film like Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbo Na..the movie has a unique concept,with mindblowing songs as expected from a music maestro like Mr.Anjan Dutta..There were certain twists and turns in this film which made it all the more interesting to the viewers.Parno Mitra,Kanchan Mullick and of course Mr.Dutta were at their best. The storyline deals with how a talent is nurtured and ultimately gets exposed into the world under an expert musician.Troubles and difficulties come across Parno's way,the new talent who is struggling to establish herself as a rockstar.Besides the storyline also emphasises upon very subtle issues of human relationships..and perhaps often man cannot exert his control upon himself and as a result many unpleasant events happen beyond his imagination.Wonderful use of chiaroscuro technique appeals the viewers.Abir chatterjee,Ushahsie chakraborty,Kabir Suman sir and our very known Momo di..Mamata shankar were also good in the...

The journey started when I was admitted into Nava Nalanda high school,Kolkata in the year 1992..Today it has almost come to an end when my M.A part 2 final examination got over on 16th jun,2010...A long journey with various ups and downs that generally happening almost every individual's life..but the harsh reality is I still have to continue..There is no employment opportunity in this country for a person who has just studied 5 years of a subject(graduation+post graduation)..isnt it an enough qualification for a person to get employed in any institute with a lucrative salary?the answer is a big NO....one needs to pass through trials and errors through different competitive examination..school life ended with passing of higher secondary examination from Ballygunge Shiksha Sadan...I still recollect the first day of Rani Birla Girls College in 2006,the memories of which are lingering afresh in my inward eye...my mind was crowded with fears of different kind..and at the same time exci...
