The term 'Muktodhara' suggests free flow of something....Free flow!Well,one can easily attribute this free flow as freedom from something which prevails in the movie..The Director duo Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Ray's bold attempt to make a real life incident into a reel life is really commendable.The storyline revolves round a large number of hardcore criminals in an infamous jail and the famous danseuse Niharika (Rituparna Sengupta) who takes up the challenge of making a 'Balmiki Pratibha'(Tagore's famous dance drama) utilising them.Ex-convict Nigel Akkara playing the lead role of the prisoner Yusuf Mohammad Khan tries his level best to live upto the expectations of the audience.I.G of Police department Debshankar Haldar makes justice to his role and Kharaj Mukherjee as the foul mouthed Union Leader of the Police force of Dumdum jail is just fantastic in his role.However,Bratya Basu,the criminal-lawyer husband of Niharika just steals the show who will ...
